Biography

Yu-Lin joined Adam Smith Business School in January 2024. Previously, he worked as a lecturer at the University of Strathclyde and was an assistant professor at National Cheng Kung University. Yu-Lin received his PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, holds a Master’s degree in Finance from National Taiwan University, and obtained a BA in Economics and a BSM degree in Quantitative Finance from National Tsing Hua University. His research focuses on financial reporting and non-financial reporting, investigating the determinants and consequences of corporate disclosure decisions. He has published in high-quality journals such as the Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Accounting Horizons, International Journal of Accounting, and the International Review of Financial Analysis. Additionally, he serves as a peer reviewer for international journals including the British Accounting Review and the Journal of International Accounting Research.
