Biography

Yu Guan is an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick in the Department of Computer Science. He leads the Ubiquitous & Visual Computing Lab (UVLab). Yu received his PhD from the same department in 2015. His career includes work as a Research Associate and lecturer at Newcastle University before returning to Warwick in 2022. His paper, co-authored with Professor Thomas Ploetz, ranks as the most cited in its conference category. Yu continues to contribute to advancing the field of machine learning through both research and teaching.
