Biography

Yu Wu (CEng, MIET, SMIEEE) received a B.Eng. degree in Electronic Electrical Engineering from University College London (UCL), London, U.K., in 2012, an M.Sc. degree in Analog Digital Integrated Circuit Design from Imperial College London, UK., in 2013, and a Ph.D. degree in Electronic Electrical Engineering from UCL, in 2019. Dr. Wu's research interests include CMOS microelectronics, biomedical systems, robotics, and brain & human-machine interfaces. He has published 30 research articles in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals and conferences and has given 10 presentations at flagship international conferences. Dr. Wu is a member of the IEEE Biomedical Circuits Systems Society Technical Committee and the CAS Society. He is currently involved in the IEEE UNIC-CASS programme, which promotes IC design technologies in low- and middle-resource countries. He is the project lead for the Circuits Systems Society (CASS) mentoring program, debuting at ISCAS2024, which is a pioneering initiative of IEEE CASS aimed at fostering mentoring relationships both in person and online through the IEEE Collabratec platform. The program is designed to offer support and guidance in critical areas of career advancement, educational development, leadership, and volunteering.
