Yuhang Wang is a Professor in the School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Chemistry from Harvard University, which he completed in 1997. Prior to his doctoral studies, he received his M.A. in Atmospheric Chemistry from Harvard University in 1994, an M.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Wyoming in 1992, and a B.S. in Atmospheric Science from Beijing University in 1990. His research focuses on remote sensing, particularly the precursors of tropospheric oxidants, the multiscale modeling of atmospheric chemistry, transport processes, and kinetics of gas phase heterogeneous reactions. Professor Wang is also involved in research related to air pollution, regional and global effects, and the concentrations and distributions of trace gases and aerosols. His contributions to these areas highlight the critical interplay between atmospheric chemistry and climate dynamics.
