Biography

Yujian Ye is a Full Professor at Imperial College London and holds a joint faculty appointment at Shenzhen Loop Area Institute, China. He has previously served as an Honorary Lecturer at Imperial College London and is a Chartered Engineer (CEng). He is the Chair of the IEEE Systems, Man and Cybernetics Nanjing Section Chapter and a Steering Board Member of the UK-China University Consortium Engineering Education Research. Yujian received his Ph.D. in Electrical Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London in 2017 on a fully-funded departmental studentship and has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers which have appeared in leading journals such as IEEE, Nature, and others, with a total impact factor of 300 and five ESI high-cited papers. He has been recognized as one of the World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University and received multiple prestigious awards including the China Electric Power Outstanding Science Technology Talent Award. Yujian is actively involved in significant research projects funded by various organizations in China and the UK, focusing on machine learning, energy flexibility, and electric vehicle energy trading. He serves as an Associate Editor for several distinguished journals in the field.
