Dr. Yukie Aida

Biography

Yukie Aida is an Associate Professor with a focus on Japanese language pedagogy and educational psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. She has an extensive academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. Aida's research interests include students' beliefs about language learning and their own language performances. She has been involved in the development of various educational materials and dictionaries to support Japanese language learners and has made significant contributions through her edited books and published articles on language teaching methodologies, distance learning, and student engagement. Aida has presented at numerous conferences and has collaborated on projects aimed at enhancing Japanese language education. She is a member of several professional associations dedicated to the teaching of the Japanese language and actively contributes to the academic community.
