Biography

Yun-chien Chang is the Jack G. Clarke Professor of East Asian Law at Cornell Law School and the Director of the East Asian Program. He is also a Core Faculty member of the Cornell East Asia Program and a Field Faculty member in the Department of Statistics and Data Science. Professor Chang is a well-published scholar, having authored 20 books and more than 160 articles and book chapters. He serves as an Associate Reporter for the Restatement Law Fourth, Property. His research interests primarily focus on East Asian legal systems and comparative law, including the implications of legal frameworks in the context of East Asia.
