Biography

Yuri Faenza is an Associate Professor at the Data Science Institute and the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University. His research focuses on Discrete Optimization and Operations Research, particularly on fundamental properties of efficient algorithms. He earned his PhD in Operations Research from Sapienza University of Rome under the supervision of Gianpaolo Oriolo.
