Biography

Professor Khoroshilov received a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2005. He also holds an M.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in Mathematics from Moscow State University, Russia. His research interests include Corporate Finance, Game Theory, Auction Theory, and Behavioral Experimental Finance. He has taught various courses, including Application Statistical Methods in Business, Statistics Management, Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Fixed Income Securities, Corporate Governance, Options Futures, and International Finance. His work has been published in prominent peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Financial Intermediation, Financial Review, Games and Economic Behavior, and Economics Letters. He is a recipient of multiple awards, including the Telfer School of Management Research Excellence awards and the Paper Corporate Finance Award from the Southern Finance Association in 2005, as well as the Junior Faculty Conference Paper Award from the Northeast Business Economics Association in 2009.
