Biography

Yury Zhauniarovich is currently an Assistant Professor in Cybersecurity Technology and Policy Management at TU Delft. He has industry experience as an R&D Engineer at Vertx and Lead Data Scientist at AI Superior, where he worked on advanced AI applications. He was the Head of R&D at Perfect Equanimity and contributed significantly at Qatar Computing Research Institute as a Scientist. Yury completed his PhD in Computer Security at the University of Trento in April 2014, under the guidance of Professor Bruno Crispo. He earned his MSc degree in Computer Security from Belarusian State University in 2007. His research interests include mobile security, network measurements, detection of suspicious domains, analysis of DRDoS attacks, blockchain technologies, data analysis, and machine learning. He is also actively involved in the THESEUS project, focusing on the development of detection services for internet security using artificial intelligence. Yury is dedicated to advancing knowledge and practice in cybersecurity through innovative research and education.
