Biography

Dr. Qian is a board-certified radiation oncologist and Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, specializing in genitourinary cancers including prostate and bladder cancer, as well as head and neck malignancies. He treats a broad spectrum of disease sites including lung, thoracic, gastrointestinal, brain, lymphoma, and breast tumors. Dr. Qian is dedicated to patient care and develops comprehensive, individualized care plans tailored to the needs of each patient, aiming to deliver effective cancer treatment to enhance quality of life. In addition to his clinical endeavors, he serves as the Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Stanford South Bay Cancer Center and is the Director of Network Clinical Research, overseeing the establishment of multiple NRG Oncology clinical trials at the center. Dr. Qian also plays an active role in the Stanford Radiation Oncology residency program, having created and overseeing a monthly mentorship roundtable series to assist residents in various aspects of clinical training and career progression. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring the great outdoors of Northern California.
