Biography

Yuval Boim is a New York-based actor, writer, and teacher. He trained at Boston University and the London International School of Performing Arts under Thomas Prattki, the pedagogical head of the École internationale de théâtre Jacques Lecoq. He has taught Physical Performance Movement, Improv, Acting, and Ensemble Creation at various institutions, including Pace University, Princeton University, and SUNY Purchase University. His acting credits include significant appearances in major film and television productions such as HBO’s 'Plot America,' 'Bull,' 'Blue Bloods,' 'Red Oaks,' and 'Law & Order: SVU.' Off-Broadway and regional theater credits feature performances at Primary Stages, New Group, Ma-Yi, and the Public Theater. Boim's writing includes a feature film, 'D.I.Y.,' which was optioned by Patrick Somerville, and he has received grants for his work, including presentations at prestigious spaces like Dixon Place and Joyce Soho. He is also a company member of the Actors Center and has completed a rigorous two-year yoga teacher training at the Iyengar Institute of New York.
