Biography

Yuwen Li is a full professor of Chinese law at Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research interests focus on foreign investment law in China, comparative investment law, international investment law, and aspects of the judicial system including civil procedural law and administrative litigation law in China. He graduated from the Law Department of Peking University, China, in 1984 and has worked in the Netherlands since 1985. Dr. Li is the Director of the Erasmus China Law Centre at the Erasmus School of Law, where he has played a significant role in facilitating Sino-Dutch legal cooperation over the past decades through various projects involving Chinese universities, the National Judges College of China, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. He is also a co-chair and co-founder of the Asia-Pacific Europe Law Institutes Alliance (APELIA) and serves as EUR's China Ambassador.
