Biography

Yuxin Chen received a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 2015, along with a Ph.D. minor in Management Science and Engineering in the same year. He earned an M.S. in Statistics from Stanford University in 2013 and an M.S. in Electrical Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2010. His undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Microelectronics, was obtained from Tsinghua University in 2008. Chen joined Princeton University as a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Statistics after working from 2015 to 2017. His research interests are centered on high-dimensional estimation, Machine Learning, convex and non-convex optimization, information theory, statistics, statistical signal processing, network science, medical imaging, and computational biology.
