Biography

Yuxuan "Cosmi" Lin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University. His research primarily focuses on nanomaterials devices, non-conventional computing architectures, and a variety of sensors including electronic, optical, mechanical, and electrochemical. He has an extensive background in integrated microsystems and is skilled in atomically precise material design and synthesis. Lin completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where his research laid the foundation for his current work. He has received several prestigious awards for his contributions, including the Corporate Research VP Award from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company in 2023 and the Outstanding Reviewer Award from IOP Publishing in 2020. His dedication to advancing research is further highlighted by Featured Talk Awards at the Microsystems Annual Research Conference in 2014 and 2016, as well as honors from Tsinghua University, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Microelectronics.
