Dr. Yuying Li

Biography

Yuying Li is a Professor at the Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Waterloo in 1988 and has extensive experience in computational algorithms and optimization. Her research interests focus on the design, analysis, and application of computational algorithms to continuous optimization problems. In particular, she is interested in applying computational optimization methods to practical problems, with a specific focus on data science and computational finance. Yuying Li has contributed significantly to her field, as demonstrated by her publications and continual engagement with advanced computational techniques.
