Biography

Yvonne Burger is a Visiting Fellow at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and leads the VU Center for Executive Coaching, which she founded in 2010. With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in individual, team, and organizational development within both profit and not-for-profit sectors. As an independent consultant and executive coach, she has been an active member of the Academic Fellowship of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI). Burger has published numerous articles and books related to coaching and organizational change. She previously worked with management consulting firms such as Touche Ross International and Twynstra Group in the Netherlands. From 2002 to 2004, she served as the Dean of the Sioo Business School, an inter-university center focused on organization studies and change management. In addition to her academic roles, Burger engages in editorial work, presentations, and acts as an examiner for PhD theses. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with awards such as the Nobco Quality Award in January 2019.
