Biography

Yvonne Mai earned her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific in 2013 and completed a fellowship in pharmacoeconomics and health care outcomes clinical services in 2015. She joined the faculty at the University of the Pacific in 2015 and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the San Joaquin chapter of the California Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Dr. Mai is dedicated to improving health care outcomes, particularly for underserved Medicare populations. Her research focuses on evaluating innovative pharmacist-provided services and their impact on patient outcomes. Through her teaching, she emphasizes active learning and problem-based education to prepare students as independent, practice-ready clinicians.
