Biography

Yvonne van den Berg is an Assistant Professor at the Behavioural Science Institute at Radboud University. Her research focuses on the development of social relationships from childhood to adulthood, particularly in classroom settings. She works on creating practical tools to map social interactions and develop interventions that reduce bullying. Her research addresses the dynamics of social relationships within the classroom and emphasizes the importance of social dynamics in youth development. Additionally, she is interested in methodologies that reliably assess the complex social dynamics of classrooms and how early life experiences influence social-emotional functioning. Yvonne is actively involved in projects such as Social Shuffle, a spinoff from Radboud University, which aims to monitor and manage social safety and dynamics in schools.
