Biography

Yvonne van Everdingen is a Professor of Marketing Innovation at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is a member of the EUR Diversity Advisory Board and serves as the Academic Director of the Erasmus Center for Data Analytics. Additionally, she is part of the Steering Group for Virtual Reality at the Erasmus Behavioral Lab and an Advisory Board member for the Creative Industries Immersive Impact Coalition. With decades of experience, she has established strong connections with marketing practitioner organizations in the Netherlands, such as NIMA's Data & Insights Network. Professor van Everdingen chairs the annual D&IN Award for Insights Scientist of the Year and organizes the perspective annual D&IN Symposium. Her research interests encompass the international adoption and diffusion of new products, the application of new technologies including virtual and augmented reality, as well as the marketing of new and refurbished products. Her work has been published in leading scientific journals like the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, and International Journal of Research in Marketing.
