Biography

Zachary S. Peacock is an associate professor at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, specializing in pediatric oral maxillofacial surgery. His clinical interests encompass a range of areas including orthognathic surgery, pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, cleft lip and palate, dentoalveolar surgery, and dental implants. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Peacock's research interests focus on orthognathic surgery and benign pathology of the maxillofacial region. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Peacock completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Harvard, graduating summa cum laude and ranking first in his class. He also earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and completed his residency training in oral maxillofacial surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Following his residency, he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He currently holds the position of chief of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mass General and is the chair of the same department at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, he serves as the co-director of the Cleft Craniofacial Center at Mass General for Children and contributes to Shriner's Hospital for Children in Boston.
