Zafer Akman is a resident physician in the Department of Internal Medicine at Yale University. He received his medical degree from Istanbul University–Cerrahpasa in 2022. Prior to his residency, Dr. Akman worked as a Postdoctoral Associate at Yale University, where he contributed to clinical translational research initiatives. His research interests focus on improving risk prediction, treatment utilization, and shared decision-making for older adults living with cardiovascular disease.
