Biography

Zainab Hikmat is a Guest Researcher at the Research Unit of Clinical Genetics at Odense University Hospital. She holds a Master's degree in Biomedicine, with her thesis focusing on the effects of insulin receptor deficiency on molecular pathways regulating energy metabolism. In addition to her academic qualifications, Zainab works as a Project Coordinator at Odense University Hospital, where she engages in various research projects aimed at understanding clinical genetics better. Her research interests span molecular genetics, bioinformatics, and clinical applications in genetics. Zainab is actively involved in collaborative projects and has a strong focus on extracting insights from genetic data and applying them in practical settings. She also participates in various research collaborations across Europe and is part of several active and finished projects.
