Biography

Zakarias Sjöström Dyrefelt is a Tenure Track Assistant Professor at Aarhus University, specializing in Kähler geometry and its intersection with complex algebraic differential geometry. His research primarily focuses on the existence of canonical metrics, such as constant scalar curvature metrics, and he characterizes the algebraic and analytical solvability of broad classes of geometric partial differential equations, including Donaldson's J-equation and generalized Monge-Ampère equations. Dyrefelt is involved in various teaching responsibilities, including Differential Equations at the Bachelor's level and Advanced Topics in Complex Analysis at the Master's level. He also supervises Bachelor, Master, and PhD students. His work has contributed to several active projects, including the Effective Testing Complex Geometry as part of the Villum Young Investigator Starting Grant, running from 01/06/2024 to 31/05/2029.
