Biography

Zefeng Zhou is a geotechnical engineer specializing in offshore renewable Oil and Gas sectors. His work primarily focuses on offshore geotechnics, including the design of offshore foundations and anchors, offshore wind farm verification, soil parametric studies, earthquake analysis, and advanced numerical and physical modeling through geotechnical laboratory experiments. He completed his PhD at the Centre for Offshore Foundation Systems (COFS) at the University of Western Australia in 2019. His research investigated the effects of cyclic remolding consolidation on seabed strength stiffness and developed a critical state-inspired model to capture the behaviors of soils throughout their lifecycle.
