Biography

Zhao Meng is a Senior Lecturer at the Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, where he focuses on Strategy, International Business, and Entrepreneurship. He holds a PhD in Organization Theory and Strategy from Said Business School, University of Oxford, and completed his postdoctoral research at Stanford University's Philanthropy and Civil Society Research Center. He has served as a visiting scholar at Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Dr. Meng has contributed to numerous academic journals including the Journal of International Business Studies and the Journal of Business Ethics. His research interests include strategies of multinational corporations in emerging markets, business sustainability, and social entrepreneurship. Additionally, he is the founding director of the Yunus Center for Social Business & Microfinance at Renmin University of China and has played a significant role in developing the social enterprise ecosystem in China, co-founding the China Social Enterprise Service Center and drafting the Beijing Initiative for social enterprise development.
