Dr. Zheng Chang

Biography

Dr. Zheng Chang is a Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the Duke Cancer Institute. His research is focused on radiation therapy treatment assessment through the use of magnetic resonance quantitative imaging, image guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and advancing fast magnetic resonance imaging techniques, including parallel imaging strategies and phase encoding. He emphasizes motion management in IGRT, aiming to improve treatment accuracy and outcomes for patients undergoing radiation therapy. Over the years, Dr. Chang has developed a significant body of work that includes numerous academic articles, conference presentations, and contributions to professional literature in the field of radiation oncology. His expertise and research have made substantial impacts on how radiation therapy is utilized in clinical settings, particularly enhancing techniques that are responsive to patient movement during treatment.
