Biography

Zheng Chen is an Associate Professor in the Division of Communication Systems at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Linköping University, Sweden. He earned his B.Sc. degree in Optoelectronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China in 2011, followed by an M.Sc. degree in 2013 and a Ph.D. degree in 2016 from CentraleSupélec, Université Paris-Saclay, France. Since 2017, he has been working at Linköping University. His research interests encompass a wide range of areas including stochastic geometry applications, distributed machine learning in wireless networks, and information dissemination in complex networks. Chen has published numerous articles in prestigious journals and is an active researcher in his field. He has received the 2020 IEEE Communications Society Young Author Paper Award and holds roles as an Associate Editor for multiple esteemed IEEE publications. He supervises Ph.D. students and currently teaches two Master-level courses: Digital Communication and Information Networks. He is involved in several research projects funded by organizations such as the Swedish Research Council.
