Zheng Liu received his Doctorate in Engineering from Kyoto University, Japan in 2000 and earned a second Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ottawa, Canada in 2007. He is a Fellow of SPIE and a senior member of IEEE, and he has held various editorial and leadership positions in professional societies and publications. Liu has been recognized for his contributions to the field of instrumentation and measurement, and he actively supervises graduate students in innovative research projects.
