Biography

Zheng Liu is a lecturer in Innovation Management at the University of Bristol, where he specializes in understanding the intersection of cultural systems, technological innovations, and business practices that shape contemporary social and economic life. His research interests include cultural sociology, economic sociology, political economy, and innovation studies. Liu has a keen focus on the cultural and creative industries, particularly the book industry, as well as artificial intelligence and digital innovation. In addition to his research, he teaches courses on digital transformation, business model innovation, social studies of AI, cultural sociology, and qualitative research methods.
