Biography

Ziad Farhat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at Dalhousie University. He is a pediatric radiologist with specialized training in pediatric interventional radiology. Dr. Farhat completed a Pediatric Radiology Fellowship and a Pediatric Interventional Radiology Fellowship at SickKids Hospital, University of Toronto, as well as a General Pediatric Radiology Fellowship at Alberta Children's Hospital, University of Calgary. He has extensive experience in providing diagnostic imaging services for pediatric women and is recognized as a key member of the IWK Radiology team. His education includes an MD from Kursk State Medical University in Russia, followed by a residency in Radiology at the University of Aleppo in Syria. He is an active member of the Society for Pediatric Interventional Radiology and contributes significantly to the field of pediatric radiology.
