Dr. Zinta Harrington

Biography

Zinta Harrington is a respiratory and sleep physician and head of the department at Liverpool Hospital. She has a strong clinical focus on interstitial lung disease, tuberculosis, indigenous health, and motor neuron disease, with a broader interest in quality improvement within clinical service delivery, emphasizing patient-centered outcomes. Dr. Harrington has worked in various locations, including Aboriginal controlled health services and remote hospitals, as well as urban tertiary institutions. Her experience includes a visiting scientist position at Harvard Medical School in New Zealand. Holding degrees in Medicine, Arts, and a Master's in Health Sciences, her current aim is to engage her department in continuous quality improvement to enhance effective, compassionate patient care. She is also involved in training staff to achieve their full potential while maintaining a fun, inclusive, and supportive workplace environment.
