Zita Nunes is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on comparative African American and African Diaspora literature, literary theory, and the literatures of the Americas. She earned her PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and has published articles and book chapters, including a notable piece on Dorothy Porter and the Africana Research Collection.
