Zoe's work applies social psychological theory to investigate how individuals and groups, along with cultural elements, shape people’s responses to climate change and environmental issues. Zoe began her position at the Australian National University in 2020, previously serving as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Edith Cowan University from 2017 to 2020, and as a research scientist at the CSIRO from 2004 to 2017. She completed her PhD in Psychology at Curtin University in 2013. Zoe is engaged in research that explores social psychological responses to climate change, environmental values, attitudes, beliefs, behaviors, prejudice, intergroup conflict, relative deprivation, multiculturalism, and social perception.
