Biography

Zoey Verdun is a Research Associate at the Imperial Business School. She holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute (EUI) and has a Master of Science in Economics from EUI. Additionally, she earned a Master's degree in Spatial, Transport and Environmental Economics from the Free University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor’s with Honours in Economics, complemented by a Minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria. Her research primarily focuses on understanding and encouraging changes in lifestyle behaviors, particularly healthier diets, through the lens of behavioral economics. Zoey is involved with the Global Health Research Unit on Diabetes and Cardiovascular Diseases in South Asia, working with Marisa Miraldo's team to design, implement, and evaluate behavioral interventions aimed at mitigating health-risk behaviors.
