Biography

Zoran Vulovic is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). His research primarily focuses on the application of GPS technology to assess structural damage in aircraft. He is particularly interested in using GPS to determine frequency domain parameters of aircraft structures, as well as investigating operational frequencies and mode shapes. Vulovic's early fascination with mathematics and engineering has shaped his career, and he encourages prospective engineers in aerospace, mechanical, mechatronics, manufacturing, and naval architecture to work hard and maintain a passion for the field. He has received recognition for his teaching efforts, awarded Lecturer of the Year by MecSoc multiple times between 2002 and 2013.
