Biography

Zuzana Jurasova is a lecturer at the Language Center of Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen. She was a research associate at the Department of Political Science from 2024 to 2025, working under the chair of Professor Katrin Kinzelbach. Zuzana studied Political Science and Public Law at Friedrich-Alexander-University. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting for the language combination of German, Swedish, and Slovak from Comenius University in Bratislava. Her research interests focus on academic freedom and various challenges to human rights related to the European Union's asylum policy. During the winter semester of 2024/2025, she co-led a research workshop on the topic of academic freedom and international human rights protection in collaboration with the Scholars-at-Risk Network.
