Zyra Evangelista is a Research Associate at the University of Glasgow. She completed her master's and doctorate degrees in psychology at the same institution. Her PhD research focused on improving LGBT+ inclusion in Higher Education, supported by a Newton Fund grant, which involved a mixed-method, cross-country comparative assessment of the campus climate for LGBT+ university students in the UK and the Philippines. She has also presented at numerous international conferences and has served in various academic roles, including as a Book Review Editor for Psychology Sexualities Review and has been involved with LGBT health and wellbeing initiatives. Currently, Zy is dedicated to enhancing the representation and inclusion of LGBT+ individuals in academic settings and beyond.
