Biography

Yen-Han Lin is a Professor in the Department of Chemical Biological Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the National Taiwan Institute of Technology in 1984 and his Ph.D. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1995. His research interests include Molecular Biochemical Engineering, Fermentation, Bioethanol Fuel, Alcohol Biotechnology, Bioprocess Development, and Applied Bioinformatics. He has extensive experience in yeast microbiology, particularly with baker's yeast, focusing on its applications in various biotechnological processes. Lin is committed to advancing the field through innovative research and education, integrating practical applications with academic rigor.
