Biography

Katherine Robinson is a Professor at Campion College, University of Regina, serving as the Graduate Program Coordinator for Experimental Applied Psychology. Her research focuses on cognitive development, with particular attention to developmental strategies in children and adults. Her projects include investigating conceptual strategic knowledge and its implications for arithmetic comprehension, as well as exploring cognitive processing of poetry and prose through eye-tracking methodologies. Dr. Robinson also teaches courses on child, lifespan, and adolescent development, cognitive aging, infant cognition, and introductory psychology, including historical contexts such as the Holocaust. With a robust academic profile, she collaborates with students and colleagues at Campion College's Mathematical Cognition Centre, advancing research on various aspects of mathematical thinking in both undergraduate and graduate contexts.
