Abdelkrim Hasni is a Professor at the Faculty of Education at the Université de Sherbrooke. His academic focus is on the didactics of sciences and technology, where he has been actively involved since 2002. He completed his Ph.D. in Education at Université de Sherbrooke from 1996 to 2001, and has also obtained degrees in Natural Sciences and Biology from various institutions in Morocco. He leads several research projects aimed at enhancing science education, particularly in critical evaluation of scientific information by students. His involvement in numerous grants reflects his commitment to improving educational practices in science through innovative teaching methods and interdisciplinary approaches. He has served on multiple research projects funded by the Canadian Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, focusing on teacher practices, media literacy, and the societal implications of science education. Hasni's contributions also extend to public engagements and collaborations with other educational institutions. He continues to teach various courses related to research methods and the intersection of research and practice in education at his university.
