Juana M. Liceras is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the University of Ottawa, where she is cross-appointed in the Department of Linguistics. She specializes in Language Acquisition, Bilingualism, General Linguistics, and Psycholinguistics, with a focus on Contrastive Descriptive Grammar and Syntax.
