Dr. Hongin Jeong

Biography

Hongin Jeong is a professor at Daegu University, specializing in Adult Lifelong Education. His academic work focuses on expanding learning opportunities for adults, with a particular interest in supporting career development and preparing students from regional universities. His research emphasizes the role of lifelong learning in promoting well-being and addresses the challenges and motivations of adult learners returning to education in midlife. Hongin serves as a board member for the National Institute for Lifelong Education (NILE), contributing to the development of national policies and strategic planning aimed at promoting lifelong learning among citizens in Korea.
