Biography

Juan Manuel Villalpando Berumen is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at Université de Montréal. His research focuses on the prediction of brain morphology in individuals at risk for Alzheimer's disease utilizing cognitive and neuropsychiatric assessments along with electroencephalographic recordings. He has collaborated on significant research projects including the association of neuropsychiatric symptoms with neurodegeneration patterns to predict cognitive performance in the elderly. His work aims to enhance the understanding of cognitive health in aging populations through interdisciplinary approaches, combining geriatrics and neurology.
