Biography

Sandra Comas teaches Leadership and Humanities Business Creativity at IE Business School, where she has received awards for excellence. She has taught at prestigious institutions including Yale, Stanford, City University of New York, and Singapore Management University. Professor Comas has also worked as a Visiting Scholar at Brown University and has served as a consultant and speaker on Leadership for organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Adecco, Kempinski Hotels, IPG Mediabrands, Gotham Asset Management, and Bühler. She delivered a TEDx talk at Universidad de Navarra titled 'Leonardo Artists: Leadership Lessons' and organized an event commemorating the 525th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's voyage from the Canary Islands, reflecting on the enduring impacts of enterprise. With a decade of experience in finance, she has worked at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where she managed portfolios worth $1 billion and achieved top client relations at TIAA-CREF. Her current research blends insights from business, history, and the arts to explore real-life opportunities for great leadership in both professional and personal contexts.
