Biography

Fred Foulkes is a Professor Emeritus in the Management & Organizations department at Boston University's Questrom School of Business. He has made significant contributions to the field of human resources management with numerous publications, including books such as 'Creating Meaningful Work' and 'Strategic Human Resources Management: Guide to Effective Practice'. With a career dedicated to academia and practical application, he has authored five articles in the distinguished Harvard Business Review and developed 160 case studies. Foulkes founded the Human Resources Policy Institute, which is a partnership between Questrom faculty and leading human resources executives from 45 major global companies, including Colgate-Palmolive, CVS, and IBM. His educational background includes a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Harvard Business School, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an AB from Princeton University.
