Judith Pintar is a Teaching Professor at the School of Information Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. As a sociologist and game designer, she directs the Game Studies and Design Program. Her research interests include narrative design, game studies, and gameful pedagogies, and she is actively involved in the E-Literatures & Literacies Lab (EL3). Pintar has been published in various journals and has presented her work at several conferences, focusing on topics such as misinformation, suggestibility, and the impact of narrative in gaming. She teaches courses related to independent studies in game design and narrative, incorporating contemporary issues to engage students.
