Biography

Fei Wang is a distinguished professor at Weill Cornell Medicine, holding the Frances John L. Leob Professorship in Medical Informatics. He serves as the Principal Investigator of the Wang Lab, focusing on advancements in health data science through innovative machine learning and data mining techniques. As the Associate Dean for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, he leads the Division of Health Informatics and Artificial Intelligence. Wang is also the Founding Director of the WCM Institute of AI for Digital Health and a Senior Faculty Fellow in Clinical AI at Weill Cornell. His research interests encompass predictive modeling for clinical risks, disease subtyping, and the design of computational drug discovery processes. Additionally, he explores knowledge graphs, model interpretability, and federated learning methodologies. With a rich background in both academia and clinical settings, Wang contributes to the training of future leaders in AI and biomedicine.
