Biography

Jessica Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Organization at the Foster School of Business, University of Washington. She completed her PhD at Cornell University in 2020 and has held positions at Georgia Institute of Technology before joining the University of Washington in 2023. Jessica has received numerous awards for her teaching excellence, including multiple recognitions from Georgia Institute of Technology, and the PhD Program Mentoring Award from the Foster School of Business. Her research primarily focuses on status power within organizational contexts, contributing to the fields of management and organizational behavior through various scholarly outputs. She serves on the editorial boards of 'Management Organization Review' and 'Organization Science'. Jessica is also actively engaged in academic service as a representative for the Conflict Management Division of the Academy of Management.
