Adriana Diaz-Donoso is an Assistant Professor and Director of Music Education at NYU Steinhardt. Her dissertation, titled 'Musical Investment in Early Childhood: Exploration of Parent-Child Participation in Organized Early Childhood Musical Activities,' examined the intersection of social class and musical parenting practices reflective of the white-middle-class experience. Adriana has extensive experience designing and implementing diverse and inclusive educational curricula and has worked as an educational consultant for several organizations, including Columbia Head Start and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Before joining NYU, she managed the WeBop program at Jazz Lincoln Center and served as an adjunct assistant professor of Music Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. Adriana is also a Fulbright Scholarship recipient.
